5 Ways Article Marketing Done Right Can Grow Your Business

By December 8, 2017No Comments

There are many ways that you can grow your business online and article marketing is one of the simplest, yet widest reaching. Today I’m going to touch on just five of these and how they can benefit your brand.

5 Ways That Article Marketing Can Grow Your Business

1. Article Marketing Reinforces Your Reputation as an Authority in Your Niche

Articles that you write that are designed to market your business or product also serve to show search engines that you are established in your niche. When robots crawl your content and find that content relevant to your industry, it increases your status in comparison to your competition.

2. Article Marketing Maintains a Dynamic Website

Without regular updates to your website, the site becomes stagnant. There is nothing new to draw previous clients to your site because they have seen it all before. That means that these clients are not going to be aware of new product releases or services.

A lack of fresh content on your site will also impact your rank in search engines which will influence how many new clients will be referred to your site.

3. Article Marketing Increases Targeted Traffic to Your Site

Writing marketing articles with specifically weighted keywords links your business to those keywords. In turn, this will draw clients specifically searching for those keywords online.

4. Article Marketing Allows You To Increase Linking

When you use articles to market your business, brand, or products on your site, you also give yourself the opportunity to link to other articles and keywords on your site creating internal links. Additionally, you can use your articles to link out to other authority sites in your industry.

5. Articles Help Make Connections Within the Industry

Using articles to market yourself also opens up doors to connect with others within your industry. You can create articles for guest posting on niche relevant blogs and promote yourself within a small “About Me” section on that site. In return, you should give the owner of the site where you guest posted the opportunity to do the same on your blog. This builds relationships, increases exposure to your business, and creates external link backs to your site.

…But Article Writing Can Be Time Consuming…

Most small business owners don’t have the time required to write targeted and optimized articles for their business. This is where I can help. I spend a good deal of time each day researching and writing search engine optimized articles for my clients and I’d be happy to add you to my client list!
